Hospitals suck and I've seen those rooms alot in the last 6 years. Mostly in the last 8 months.

Ok, well he must be feeling a little better because he got mad at me this morning! 
Apparently he doesn't like doing his PT. It's okay. He did them. 
Had a decent night, they said. At this point, I'll take anything that isn't "well we are doing the best we can for him". Most terrifying words I have ever heard in my life because I KNOW what it means.

Ok ... Frustration can actually be a good thing. Doc came by, Scott did all his party tricks and they have weaned him off all his sedation now. Gonna try to un-ventilate him again this afternoon!! 
(Yes, I picked on him. Yes, in front of the doctor. Did I embarrass him?? Probably. I don't care -- I care about getting him home and the longer he is on that vent the worse his outcome will likely be. I LOVE having doctors who do not have poker faces. Doc was SO HAPPY when he said we could try to get off the ventilator again! )

I am not sure but 3 I think. At the time I was more worried about getting the heck out of there. Wifey also does not remember.

Ok guys. Sit down. That hospital has truly pulled a rabbit out of their hat. Scott is off the vent again, feeding tube is out, he is sitting up in bed on his own and can move his arms and legs without help. I am looking at a completely different man than even 24 hours ago. I'm flabbergasted -- and happy! It is amazing just how quickly a person can go from "oops I'm dead" to " hey, I'm fine. Just need a nap!" 
And how many times they can do it in a week -- the bastard! I told him today he was in BAD trouble with me! He rolled his eyes and said "So nothing's changed, huh?"
