Just curious how many here are NRA members. I'm not (yet), but am seriously considering it.

I checked yes, but am considering not renewing and going with GOA instead. I routinely get phone calls from NRA after 9pm. It really pisses me off

What is GOA? Excuse my ignorance but I've never heard of GOA as an alternative to NRA-or GOA for that matter.

NRA life member here, had to have a serious talk to them about phone calls a couple years ago and don't get them any more.
Also life member of Oklahoma Rifle Association. Annual member 2nd Amendment, AOPA, EAA,EAA Antiques, Oklahoma Pilots Association, Cessna Pilot Association and I don't remember the rest

NRA Lifetime as well. Easy pay and about half way through the payments, was also a discounted rate when I signed up.

As far as abbreviations

NRA - (we should all know it but just in case) National Rifle Association
GOA - Gun Owners of America
2AF (also as SAF) - Second Amendment Foundation
JPFO - Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership

I am sure there are a ton more but generally if you put the letters and "firearms" in a google search they will come up.]

Some others not mentioned but I know of are

FPC - Firearms Policy Coalition
NSSF - National Shooting Sports Foundation
