Each Rep and Senator probably has 5 staffers minimum. That’s 535 x 5, or over 2500 staffers just for Congress alone.
They’re exempt because they work for the government.
That’s true because the folks elected to congress have no clue how to properly word a bill, much less know how to introduce it to the congress.

Man, remember the govt budget shutdown when they furloughed "non essential" positions? That's a good start of trimming the fat.

I don't know about useless positions, but I figure the most used govt position is the one where they tell the taxpayer to bend over and grab their ankles and tell them to bite down hard on something hard because they are coming in dry.
Every position not listed in the Constitution is useless. Including the so-called Federal Reserve Bank, even though its an amalgamation of public and private components.
