I am also a Thompson Center sidelock percussion cap user. I have a left-handed Renegade that I've owned for over 30 years and have successfully killed deer with it. It was a safe queen for about 20 years but I kept it lubed. I got it out last year, took it to the field and fired 2 shots at a 50 yard target. The holes in the target were almost the same hole and I decided I didn't need to shoot any more. That target is now on my wall.
The Remington Genesis SS, 209 primer, synthetic stock .50 cal is NOT traditional, but very accurate and a breeze to clean.
.50 cal or .45 sabot are both accurate
Goex, Pyrodex or 777 equally accurate, I prefer 100 gr Goex and .45 sabot.
Can be easily scoped.
Much better price than Remington Ultimate Muzzleloader 700, bolt action.
Whatever your choice, get SOMETHING and go shoot.

I bought a simple CVA Wolf a few years ago and have successfully been killing deer each year since. Put a simple Simmons scope on it and find it surprisingly accurate year after year. Also killed a pig last year with it. Can't get much simpler.
Do any of the ones you have use the 209 primers? I'm leaning towards TC but who knows.
When hunting in damp weather with a side lock percussion, I would wrap saran/ glad wrap over the cap to keep it dry. My usual load was 70 g pyrodex pistol powder, 44 cal 240g Hornady xtp hp in a 50 cal sabot .
The CVA in 45 uses 209 primers. Decent scope sling etc. 45 accessories are not as readily found but it’s an accurate gun and has taken its fair share of deer. A few bullets and sabots go with it.
