Is it just me or is the "boat accident " cliche getting old?
Surely there has been other tragedies that resulted in the loss of firearms, such as what happened to me.
I was at an outdoor range during the last earthquake. A fissure in the earth opened up and swallowed the table all my guns were on.

Someone made a reply recently about the feds being out shortly to whatever lake, etc with a side scanning sonar.... that was actually funny.

There was a post on another forum where the guy lost all his in a tragic (always use the word "tragic" BTW) boating accident on the Mississippi. A follow up asked why he didn't just reach down and retrieve them! LOL
