Great review. Honestly, I've found a full size 1911 to be extremely easy to carry even in the summer with the RIGHT holster. To be honest..... I've been carrying my commander much more lately because it prints less than my G26 within the same holster platform.... i.e.. Milt Sparks VM2.

The beauty of the Raven system is that it is modular and can be changed up to almost anything with a few minutes and a philips head screwdriver. This also applies to their mag pouches.

You can run soft rubber IWB loops, kydex overhooks, tuckable J-hooks, OWB loops... hell you can even connect the pouches to each other. I used to connect an AR mag pouch to my pistol mag pouch and carry a PMAG 20 in it while working at the range, it was more than concealable as well.
