They're called collector vehicles for a reason. Collecting dust til the next sucker buys it.
I was considering it for an investment. I opted to keep the money in more "normal" investments. There's a 50/50 chance this truck would pay as much or more than what I'll net in the market in the same time frame. That's just a fact.

As my buddy would say every time we pulled up next to a Vette "would you take 500 cash right now"....never got any takers. He ended up with the biggest POS Vette I've ever seen, Ugly brown interior and a black Earl Schieb looking paint job. I couldn't lie. I had to tell him it looked like lemon for sure but he said "yeah but it's a Vette....the motor blew up a month later.

You sir, can get on the next train to F Y.
Stay out of this thread if your jealous (you obviously are)
It's a truck. We get it. Somebody famous owned it. Whatever. I've been in the off road racing scene forever. Seriously, nobody gives two squirts about Ole's Bronco or whatever this turd is. Got a signed dash, Maybe interesting, but better be able to show the paperwork. Anybody selling a famous vehicle without signed papers is almost as big a fool as the buyer.

It's only worth what people are willing to pay. Hedge your bet on that.

The “collector” status that centers around it being Carroll Shelby’s personal truck for over a dozen years isn’t affected with use.

That Truck could have 100K miles on it and it wouldn’t change the fact.
My Aunt bought a Buick something that Roy Clark drove during some golf tourney from a dealership in Tulsa with the paperwork to prove it.
She got a premium price for something a lot of folks could care less about, but there are always some collectors looking for something new for the collection. We have a collector in Ponca with a "barn" of collectible vehicles.
President Kennedy rode in one. The money he has been offered for that one vehicle is amazing.

Looks like someone is pizzed that they missed out. Lol
Surely your referring to me but are too much of a b*^$% to call me out personally. . Whatever. It's a truck. I'd drive it, but it isn't worth any more than any truck from that era. You all like to make assumptions, but it says more about your character than mine. I'm sure I'll get a vacation for calling out the faves, but whatever.
