Need a new truck Ram 2500 Hemi or F150 Eco?

The Ecoboost is only that lineup in spirit. I think it gets the badge because it's a turbocharged engine, but it's no fuel saver.

Ford might have been better off if they'd kept the original pre-production name for the engine family (TwinForce, for the "twin" technologies of turbocharging and direct injection), but EcoBoost has broader marketing possibilities.

I visited the F150 forum, and watched the vid posted by ford for the torture test as well as the videos from a service guy that has noted issues with earlier models having carbon building issues on intake valves. Seems the issue is placement of the PCV valve, but there are fixes for it.
I'm pretty convinced the F150 ecoboost will be my next truck.

In the economy thread, it went from 14 to 22 depending on how they drove it, the later models getting better mileage.
