Shield plus is my EDC, evenings walking the 4 legged brats I generally carry the Taurus 85 ... Hunting Taurus 65 357 which I did not mention before but it was cheap as well and is by far my favorite to shoot. Butter trigger and spot on.

Taurus 85 and SW M&P Shield plus....
One of the designers of the S&W ultra carrie went on a tour of the Taurus factory, told me the stuff that's coming out of Taurus today is every bit as good as S&W. This floored me because he ill and his dad are die hard Smith and Wesson collectors.

My P80940c. EDC for 6 years now. Will chew through any crap I feed it, (so long as I stick to Glock mags) and turning over 8000 rnds very soon. I've been putting off a rebuild, because the trigger has become so smooth over time that I hate to start over again!!
I paid $270 for everything before adding night sights, light, and SS recoil spring. Altogether I still don't have $600 in it, and that's counting 2x replaced sets of night sites.

My Remington RM380. I think it was $199 and they (CDNN?) included four extra mags. Out of the box … great trigger and would feed any and every round. I added the Galloway Performance Kit and it still is 100% reliable but now the already great trigger is as good as the custom triggers on my Sig P220 and P225A1 that Robert Burke (The Sig Armorer) did. Shown with my S&W Performance Center 637.

You rich guys.
My expensive hand gun was 600. And I had to fix the pinched barrel issue thanks S&W. And I have never had that much in any rifle either.
I about croaked but it was a decent deal but way far from being labeled as cheap in my book.

For cheap and reliable. I bought a new Hipoint 45acp $189 then taxes added in.
Zero issues for thousands of rounds fired.
Liked it so much I got another one but this time a used one.
Zero issues with that.
I kept up the trend and got a 40 in the same brand and then another 45 and a 9.

None of them were more than 150 and every one of them have been 100% reliable and accurate.
I accidentally spent 1500 on a 1911. The whole tax thing hurt my feelings when it was listed for less. I dont plan on dropping more than 600 on any handgun ever again!
