Gundy is a helluva coach, but one that is too stubborn to change with the landscape of college football. I've been a defender of him as a coach, but he needs to go. I doubt he's gonna tackle NIL and the portal with his heart into it. Another problem is that OSU has some donors..... but they don't buy into the NIL like other programs. Unless they change their mindset, that's gonna be a problem.

I don’t know that it was ever any more binding than the young man’s word. I think it says a lot more about the state of the nation than it does about college football—you have some honorable young men who are going to keep their word, and you have some who are going to follow the money. I’d like to think that a team is better off without the latter type on it, but who knows these days.
Coaches follow the money, but you think that is OK
But players should not.
