Commenting in the Classifieds.........again.

I can handle the meaningless chit chat in classifieds, but the same ads that have been going for over a year with no drop in price that get relisted like clockwork drive me insane.

There’s probably some counseling available for that

I wish there were a maximum number of times a classified could be relisted.

There is for non-paying members. Supporters are unlimited…$$$

“Items may be listed once every 72 hours. Members are allowed to post up to five items per day per category. You may post multiple items in your ad, but once they are bundled together they can’t be listed separately until after the 72 hours requirement has been met.”

“Non-Site Supporters who have been here 14 days and 10 have posts are limited to 3 ads (including relist) per month. Site Supporters can have unlimited ads.”

This is pointed at no one in particular. I would say that the guilty already know who they are but as is usually the case, those of this ilk rarely possess any level self awareness.

No one asked for your "free appraisal"
No one is eager for you to share your vast "expertise"
No one needs you to "save them" from making a mistake.

Usually, when I comment on an add for a gun for sale I say it is a nice looking gun, great price, or my favorite comment, "Drool!"
