Anyone have or familiar with the Cz58/Vz58 rifle? Really got a bug for this thing, but don't need it and another caliber to buy for. Haven't read about it here, so wanted to see if anyone had one, and what they thought of it.
I handled one at a pawn shop recently. It was the model with the brownish synthetic/wood furniture, and I was quite surprised by the light weight. Quite a bit lighter than an AK. The bolt stays back on an empty magazine, and the bolt itself looks similar to an SKS, with the entire action being open on top.
All around build quality looked very good, and I believe the price was around $800. I personally love older CZ products, and this is now at the top of my "wanna buy" list.
