Well if at all possible I'd like to bunk with a hot mermaid...
Ariel was hot!!!

Yes she's real my friends, my kids have Ariel's autograph, courtesy of DW. I've been trying to find the pic of our DW vacation a few years ago, where the line to get Ariel's autograph was all dads and kids:)

Its how they portrayed it that is the problem. If they had presented it as a what if type of show where they showed a possibility of mermaids based on unexplained discoveries that would have beenn fine. Instead they decided to create a show in a documentary style that appeared to be real that misled viewers. Shameful! I wish you hadn't started this post. Its got me spooled up again. Now I wont be able to watch Paige tomorrow night because I have to put DC back on boycot status. I guess I can watch reruns of So You Think You Can Dance with my wife. Gay!

On the other hand, I thought "I, Caveman" was a very interesting show. Every now and then the Discovery channel does get it right, but it's a rarity.

All to many formerly responsible scientific sources have been resorting to sensationalizing science. What used to be offered up as hypothesis or theories are now presented as facts.

I've always believed in mermaids, you look at ancient science where it says so. Maybe they're not still out there or maybe they are. I won't judge till I get the documentary on DVD from Amazon.
