The only laws that need to be changed are the ones that exempt government agents from criminal liability for their negligence.
And the laws creating gun free zones.

Your bias against the medical field has been revealed. You can go back to asking Dr. Google for advice again, and quoting stats you don't understand to your friends and coworked to look edumacated.
*sigh* I thought about pointing out your projection, but pulling your strings and watching you dance is getting boring.
He has to have the last word...and he's a Dr. so hes better than us lol.*sigh* I thought about pointing out your projection, but pulling your strings and watching you dance is getting boring.

And yet you keep doing it.You would think he could be a little more rational and objective. It's like arguing with a liberal about, well, pretty much anything. Shouting "you're wrong" and hurling insults doesn't make for a very convincing argument.
Don't know why you're getting all butt hurt, other than you want to pretend to be the expert with the final word, when you and I both know you're not. Misrepresenting my posts and hurling insults doesn't make you more right. It just makes you look more desperate to "win".
Here's the thing. Anti-depressants, anti-anxiety and similar drugs can be (and are) prescribed by all sorts of "health professionals" that have no background or training in mental health. Physician's Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and even MD's have no business dabbling with psychotropics.
I think they are running under Obama rules thinking hillary is still going to be their boss.
Perhaps they should consult their new boss and see what he thinks.
I watched a program today with an ex FBI and an Ex Secret service agent discussing how the FBI failed.
It appears the "if you see something, report it" may actually just be a recorded message now, and has to go through a plethora of channels to get to the FBI station in the area vs past when a caller actually talked to an agent in their district.
I can't verify this, and aren't going to call that number, but this could be an issue that needs to be resolved if that's the case.
Your opinion might have a basis in theory, but not much in fact. The U.S. health system has been in shambles on "mental health" for decades. There is no cohesive plan or practice for mental health as a "system", so you have to make do with what we have, or do without. If the health industry professionals can't change this fact, any concerns we have as non health industry persons is unlikely to change anything.
Doc is correct on something though, what little mental health treatment we have probably prevents far more crisis than it enables. Can you tell us what percentage of patients on SSRI's or other treatment methods do not commit mass murder, as opposed to those who do? What percentage of serial killers were on SSRI's or other treatment methods versus those who weren't?
Long story short, should we throw the baby out with the bathwater because of a correlation? You're never going to get a 100% drug or method, so what do you propose to do instead?
IMO, we don't have a gun problem or an entirely mental health problem. More than anything we have a cultural problem bordering on crisis.
