Sure the kids in Florida are disappointed by the action (or inaction) of the Florida House of Representatives. First time in their life they've been told "no". They've never been spanked, at school or at home, they've always been told how wonderful and special they are, both at school and at home, they have piles of participation ribbons, even if they have never won--or lost--any kind of sporting contest, all their wants, needs, and desires have been attended to by their doting parents, and--horror of horrors, they have finally heard, for the first time in their young and sheltered lives, the word "no". Counselors are no doubt being made available....

Here, but occasionally There.
I ran across this story a while ago. One of the survivors of the Florida school shooting says that the media is pushing gun control, but not necessarily all of the students.

Florida School Shooting Survivor - Media is Using Tragedy to Push Gun Control

There was also a story I saw earlier that indicated that some idiots were slamming the father of one of the girls that was killed because he was wearing a Trump for 2020 T-shirt while out looking to find out about his daughter. I'll have to see if I can find that again.

The elections to come will be all about Trump. The Left hates him, and they also hate the people who voted for him, and the things those Trump voters stand for. They have been protesting, organizing, and fund-raising since Election Night. This time will be different.
Their fundraising has been a dismal failure prior to this incident. It may pick up a tad though.

OK. I found the story, but at a different news source than what I saw earlier.

He Has Her Blood on His Hands - Father of Florida Shooting Victim Viciously Attacked on Social Media

These sick, hypocritical people really make my blood boil.
You do realize that Russia pretty much has a huge stake in Twitter and falsebook, stealing Identities and creating legit accounts?
They are using social media to sow discord in the US, and It's been going on for awhile now.
The ruski's are laughing their butts off because the people that visit twitter and falsebook are eating up their bull crap without doing research on their own.
The very story you quoted may have been written by a ruski.
If anyone thinks China isn't doing the same thing, you're sadly misinformed.

Chump change with the donations to the RNC and what they have in the bank.
Both of those characters are looking at running in 2020.

DNC raises $67 million in 2017, half of RNC’s haul
The Democratic National Committee saw a fundraising uptick, but is not close to keeping pace with its GOP counterpart.

The Democratic National Committee will report raising $5.2 million in December, bringing its total 2017 fundraising to $67 million, according to paperwork that will be filed Wednesday.

That figure includes $1.2 million raised by the Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee between the national and state parties launched in October, and over $30 million in grass-roots donations —averaging $21 dollars each — overall.

The total is slightly ahead of the party's haul in 2013 and 2015, the previous off-years when Democrats had the benefit of a president from their party in the White House. It's far behind the behind the $108 million that the DNC raised in 2011, however.

It also badly trails the Republican National Committee, which raised $11.1 million in December for a 2017 total of $132.5 million.

The RNC has $38.8 million cash on hand. The DNC will report $6.5 million cash on hand, but its debt is now $6.2 million.

Obama did one fundraiser for the DNC last year, but is planning on doing more in the year ahead.

The DNC saw a late uptick in contributions after last fall's statewide wins in Virginia and Alabama. Its fundraising report comes amid Democratic optimism about a wave in this year’s midterms but anxiety that it lacks the operational structure to take advantage. What's more, some officials fear they won't have the money needed to build up that structure this year or ahead of the 2020 presidential race.

Yeah but the Mil. and a half is just for the marches, that'll buy a lot of tide pods and emotional support hamsters.
