There are many strains of flu, most of which fall under A or B. Not telling without extensive testing which ones people have other than the A or B. The H1N1 a few years ago was an A, I think, last year it seems like we saw a lot of B. This year, I am seeing ONLY A, haven't run across a B yet. Even a number of people who got their flu shot are turning up positive, just because this particular sub-type of A wasn't apparently in the vaccine. **** happens. :D

Yes it sucks. Is it the end of the world? Nope... Type A, Type B... 50/50 and both seem about the same to me in severity.

No worries... chicken soup, Tylenol and lots and lots of rest.

Good luck, man.

Flu B seems to be causing less severe symptoms than Flu A. I had Flu B and besides the fever and bodyaches on day 1, after Tamiflu it was pretty much like having a bad cold. Done and over with it within 3 days.

I'm dealing with it now, but it's slacking off due to Tamiflu and liquids (lots of 'em!). I even took the flu shot offered at work, didn't help! This flu isn't as rough as the flu I got my junior year of high school. Thought I was going to die then, and my younger sister had it worse than me.
