I've had the pleasure of visiting our fine state for the past week. My dad had an heart issue that required a valve replacement. Surgery went well and he was home the following day. It's amazing the technology they have.
He had a TAVR performed and from the start of the procedure to end was 37 minutes.
His only restrictions are no driving and no lifting over 10lbs for 5 days. The 10lb restrictions has been a problem though. The day of his dismissal I pull up to house and have to park in the street due to the garage being blocked by a family member. He gets out of the car and walks into the garage and grabs the leaf blower and starts blowing the leaves out of it. My step sister yells at him and he has the deer in the headlights look on his face. "I forgot he says". That's the first of him forgetting. I swear, it's like following a three year old around.
