Gov't searching packages?

I'm sure this happens from time to time but I have a package coming from "XXXXX Shooters Supply" and it is delayed on UPS's tracking site with this note:

Pkg delay-add'l security check by Gov’t or other agency- beyond UPS control. / Package will be delivered next business day.

It has started. The company I work for, we ship our tools of the trade in plastic gun cases. When we do ship them it's either because they are not working properly or they have been repaired and are being returned to us. Yep, it was delayed, a next day air shipment. Oh, well! Free 2 day delivery I guess.

even if it wasn't Gov't or other agency,

Right of Inspection
UPS reserves the right to open and inspect any package tendered to it for transportation.

had a local company try to ship a pistol the wrong way.... had to get security involved...
