UPS reserves the right to open and inspect any package tendered to it for transportation.

had a local company try to ship a pistol the wrong way.... had to get security involved...

Yes, but when I hire UPS to carry transport something for me, I have contracted with them, and agreed to the terms. When the govt does it, it expressly contradicts the contract I have with them regarding what they can search and seize.

I believe the .gov will trump any UPS contract, those fines dig into shareholders
