I've tried a few bug-killer sprays but the grasshoppers are decimating everything around my house. Any suggestions for an easy-to-use spray? If they were any worse I would use an umbrella to get to the car.

Sevin won't repel grasshoppers but should kill them. They have to eat the treated vegetation. Works for bagworms too.

I've got the same grasshopper problem. Anyone know how to attract boattail grackles? I see them eating dead grasshoppers from the undercarriage and grills of the cars in parking lots. Wouldn't they rather have fresh live ones?
