That's my feeling. I wouldn't have to worry if my jacket or suit coat has a small imprint or if the wind catches it and blows it open. I spoke with a gun dealer and he said it would make it a lot easier to sell holsters because they go focus on fit and feel.I just called and left a polite message encouraging Gov. Henry to sign this bill into law. I mentioned 11 other states have open carry, and the 2nd Amendment guarantees us RKBA, and, open carry will allow citizens to choose, and it won't make it a crime to accidentally expose our pistols if our shirts ride up while carrying concealed.
'...some of the concerns that have been expressed to me by law enforcement that the open carry makes their job more dangerous," he said. "It makes it more difficult for them to distinguish between the bad guys and the good guys. So, I will take all that into consideration. I haven't made a final decision yet."'
WTF? How does one figure that? How many bangers are out there carrying a G26 in a FIST kydex holster or any other such professional, practical set up?
He's not going to sign this bill. Calling it now...quote me later and I'll print and eat this post.
Not signing is fine as long as he doesn't veto.
