Does anyone have Governor Henry's e-mail address? The governor's website crashes my computer everytime I try to access. If we want this bill to be signed into law, we all need to contact the Governor ASAP.

Gov Henry doesn't seem to understand the concept of email. The only way to contact him is to fill out an online form requiring full name and address.

Probly so he can put you on the Dem black list.

I just called and left a polite message encouraging Gov. Henry to sign this bill into law. I mentioned 11 other states have open carry, and the 2nd Amendment guarantees us RKBA, and, open carry will allow citizens to choose, and it won't make it a crime to accidentally expose our pistols if our shirts ride up while carrying concealed.
That's my feeling. I wouldn't have to worry if my jacket or suit coat has a small imprint or if the wind catches it and blows it open. I spoke with a gun dealer and he said it would make it a lot easier to sell holsters because they go focus on fit and feel.

'...some of the concerns that have been expressed to me by law enforcement that the open carry makes their job more dangerous," he said. "It makes it more difficult for them to distinguish between the bad guys and the good guys. So, I will take all that into consideration. I haven't made a final decision yet."'

WTF? How does one figure that? How many bangers are out there carrying a G26 in a FIST kydex holster or any other such professional, practical set up?

He's not going to sign this bill. Calling it now...quote me later and I'll print and eat this post.

Not signing is fine as long as he doesn't veto.

Think I'll keep my measly $20 that I send to OSTA this year as well, sorry guys but I have spent alot of money on charity already this year and the United Way drain hasn't hit me yet, we'll call it redistribution of wealth, Jeremiah Mitchell and Wounded Warrior project have both received signifigant amounts from me. Already emailed them and informed them my contribution would not be coming this year because they took a political stance on 3354.
