In your momma’s bedroom.
Some of you need therapy. 😎

I have several, but this is my favorite. I bought it from my father in law about 45 years ago or maybe a little longer. He had it in a garage sale, then it was a different pan that I’ve since updated with the Teflon one in the picture, but a good piece of those were in that pan when I bought. Always seemed like a good size to drag out and fish something out of. Couldn’t count the number of times it had exactly what I needed.

During the mid 1990s, my (deceased and sorely missed) best friend and his youngest son brought a 1960s Classic Pickup out from town to replace an essential component in the undercarriage on its front end. They had either lost or stripped a large, castellated nut needed to match the end of a large threaded rod that was drilled for a cotter pin. They were crying, screaming and throwing themselves on the ground in agony and desperation (at least that is how I like to portray them in my otherwise authentic stories). I quietly walked back into the confines of my crowded, cluttered garaged, fished through my disorganized bucket of old bolts and fittings, and returned with the exact matching nut in my hand. My friend gasped and fainted dead on the drive and his son reached out with trembling hands and tears streaming down his face, gently took that nut from my hand, and got his knees and said, “Thank you, Master.” At least that’s how I like to remember it…..
