Milton has doubled in size to a wind field 500 miles wide

Yesterday it was 220 miles.

I used to live about 3 miles East of Pier 60 in Clearwater, thankfully no hurricanes while I was there but I did see a tropical storm and that was very impressive.

They could make the same video if they rode in my wife's car while she was driving. She can hit every pothole, even if it's not in her lane.

The forecast this morning still shows it making land fall as a category 4 tonight. It is not showing signs of weakening at least not to the level that predicted.

That is because it has jogged south of its original landfall estimate. Bradenton and Sarasota have deeper water off their coast.

When we lived in Florida my dad knew a couple guys off one of those death traps.

We went through a Cat 4 while there. Back then they didn’t evacuate. A bunch of knot head boys on our own while the parents worked made a couple dumbazz decisions. But we survived.
