is it worth to renew your concealed carry with all the new laws

    IIRC, there is a grace period (3 yrs?) where you don't have to take the class again to renew.

    I'm sure someone can verify or nullify this.

    You are correct, it is 3 years without having to take the class again, but you will have to resubmit fingerprints, etc.

    Nah, aint doin it. Been carrying that permit since 94 and havent gotten to show it once. Me thinks they dont GAF

    I like showing mine as an ID at the airport when they ask for a "Govt Issued ID Card"....Yes, I have been called an ass many times.

    I can still do that with an expired permit cause they never check the date, just the name and photo LOL

    The pricing is irksome. Are they still doing the background checks? If so, why? If not, why is the price still so high?

    I believe the deadline is 3 years. Then you gotta start the whole process all over again.

    Gotta pay for the fine government worker to send you the permit with your photo upside down. At least that's what happened with mine.
