Is open carrying of rifles legal now?

As far as I can remember, you couldn't open carry a rifle in OK like you can with a pistol now, but this dude is telling me I just imagined that??? Were you always able to open carry a rifle (as in, in public, vs hunting)? Or did something change? Or is he just making stuff up?

you can legally carry a rifle with a sling. But why would anyone do that?

Can you? Yes. Should you? Only you can make that decision. As much as I would like to go walk around the park dressed like Dutch from Predator, I don't think it's a good idea.
