I've only been able to keep up on the radio the last couple of days. They've said that a domestic attack isn't likely. I'm not feeling as confident. Does anyone else share this feeling?
I'm amazed something hasn't happened yet. They seem interested in targets like France or England where people can't shoot back.
I think a domestic attack by jihadists (be they IS, Al-Qaeda or anyone else) is not only possible but likely. The only question is when and where.

Can't remember what alphabet agency it was, but as I was scanning the sunday news shows, one of them said it was not only possible but highly likely. In New York city alone, he said they have stopped 12 attempted terrorist acts this year alone. Eventually one of them is going to slip through. ICIS put out a notice yesterday that Washington DC was the next target. Its a large gun free zone, so I guess that might be why they picked it along with other reasons.
Of all places why there? Our hearts would be shattered it they hit westboro...
I'm shocked it hasn't happened yet. I think it will be an unlikely target. All of our security will be on high profile areas like dc or ny. I think when it happens it will be smaller possibly "rural"
Play close attention to the shopping malls, possibly a similar attack like the one in India just a few years ago. It may be in a large city or a small one like Tulsa. Tulsa police and sheriff's department would be on a very thin rope for something such as that. Even a major city would find its self hamstrung to say the least. Unlike some on here I pay little attention to the "Gun free" signs like the one for the Tulsa mall. There are places I will disarm before going in, but places such as the mall can kiss my ass. To open of a target, and I'm no victim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
