Yep and Eric Reid called it systemic oppression. Can Reid even read?
I don't know who Eric Reid is, but he sounds like a liberal jerk.

Safety for the 49er's
I don't know of one person in my circle that is watching the NFL now. Done, finished, no more is the comments I hear, but I run with a different circle than the liberal mindset that the NFL has taken.I hope it does and the players union is busted up, salaries are slashed and teams belly up.
TV contracts are based on viewers and that's way down. Teams base their salary cap on expected revenues. These ad dollars are paid on weekly ratings and when the check is cut it's based on the past month average.
Networks pay a billion dollars a year to broadcast and those numbers are based on viewers as well. If the numbers drop, they may have relief if the drop can be tied to actions by players or teams.
Right? We should also insist that the first amendment be updated. Does a civilized society really need curse words? I'd be ok with those that drop the F bomb spending a few months in prison. It is high time that we stop all the tit-for-tat crap and go back to policing our own shooting sports. The attitude that 'I will give NOTHING up', regardless how inconsequential that 'loss' is, does nothing except make us appear just as fanatical as those other, ah . . .'People' are, and also gives 'Them' an incentive to push their agenda onto those that are undecided about firearms.
The notion that 'if we give and inch they will want a mile, therefore it is ALWAYS better to never give that inch' (as if by not giving into them 'They' will just give up and quit), is a fallacy. 'They' will always want a mile whether we give an inch or not, so instead I think that we should focus more on ensuring that 'They' have nothing that 'They' can use against us.
Though 'Bumpsticks' or 'binary triggers' are coveted by a tiny, tiny fraction of those in the shooting community, by NEVER drawing a line on what should or should not be allowed to the general shooter, those other 'People' now have another thing to use against us in their never ending quest to rid the planet of firearms.
I guess my point was that [even on this forum] many who have commented did so saying that they do not own a 'Bumpstick' and have no plans on getting one. Yes, there are probably thousands in the shooting community but that is a miniscule amount compared to the number of people that possess firearms, therefore, it is my belief that we could trade (maybe limit to Class III) 'Bumpsticks' for something else that would benefit the shooting community more, as a whole.I have been thinking a lot about this very subject all week and while I want to agree with you I have a real problem with telling a law abiding citizen you cant have this because an outlaw might use it for evil. I see no benefit to a bump fire other than wasting bullets and the cool factor for some, but to tell these folks you are paying the price for a seriously small minority of outlaws is WRONG on so many levels.
And then you add in the fact that taking these away from the good guys , will not stop the outlaws from having these items if they so choose.
Heck we have all sorts of laws on the books that are not being adhered to by the bad guys, a lock on a door only keeps law abiding people out, a no bump fire law only keeps law abiding people from owning them!!!!
Why should someone have to give up anything that is used according to the law?
The fallacy is that any amount of gun control is going to stop mass killings, England and France both have serious antigun laws on the books so the outlaws used a truck and mowed 87 people down in one instance. I was in Germany when bombings were killing people right and left all over Europe......... Law abiding people do not engage in this behavior in any form......
The shooting community must ensure that we NEVER just 'give away' anything. Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate (always to our benefit). And you can still buy a truck in Germany, England, and France.
You are seeing the way most of us see things. Of the thousands of bumpfire stocks out there today, only one has been used by an evil person.
Yet the left focuses on the gun or its accessory. They don't focus on the evil in a human being that caused that.
I think it was Nancy Pelosi said yesterday that when she heard some of the other legislators saying giving the gun grabbers the bump stocks, it would lead to a slippery slope of further regulations.
Pelosi's response was she hoped it did lead to a slippery slope as that is the first step to their agenda. (paraphrased, not quoted)
Actually I could go for a modest updating of the First Amendment to include making it against the law to desecrate our countries flag, vandalize memorials, disrespect our veterans, etc.Right? Sounds pretty damn silly, huh?
