It's being treated as comic entertainment by Judge Judy but welfare and the stupidity it produces is no joke. It is a subsidy to raise children without fathers. Lacking a strong parental figure in their life these kids become criminals at worst or government welfare dependent at best.
Judge Judy sucks. She validated everything that freeloader was doing and let him off. After 7 minutes of his BS and "knowwhatumsayin" crap, she doesn't give the girl 30 seconds to explain herself. As Judge Jude was walking off, the girl is trying to explain "they are coming after me for the rent". If that is the case, then the freeloader should be responsible for his portion of the rent.
