Tell me about Keurig coffee makers please. Anyone own one? Do you like it? Easy to make a cup of tea or coco? I am thinking of buying or trading for one as we have no coffee maker at the moment and do not drink enough for a regular machine. I might want a cup of coffee every month or two as a hold over habit from my construction days. Wife does like hot tea a lot. I figure something like a Keurig or similar would be all we need and with all our daughters stuff we have to sell I should be able to afford or trade for a reasonably priced machine.

I love mine. I drink about three mugs a day. If it breaks, Imma order another one right away. Splurge a little, I have a Keurig Elite and one thing I really love over the base model is I can turn it on, hit the brew button, and do something else and come back when it's ready. I think with the base model you have to let it heat the element up and then hit the brew button to make your cup. But if you just drink a cup now and then, that's probably not a big deal.

Tons of variety in flavors, teas, cocoa, about anything hot you want to drink. No plans to go back to a drip maker, ever. I make it as I drink it, never have any left over, or have to make another pot.

If money is an object there are off-name machines that are cheaper, but I don't have any experience with them. And a $20 Mr. Coffee and small can of Folgers is probably the least costly route, even with waste.
