Oh, c'mon. That's like saying because so and so drives a Chevy (or Ford or whatever) and happens to be a member of the Communist Party, I will never drive the same brand of vehicle because I hate the Communist Party. That attitude is so childish and acting that way is no different than a two-year old throwing a fkng tantrum.I know what you mean, But also considering the stance PayPal has taken on some "transaction types", I can understand why there are those, especially here, that wouldn't want to be involved with them in any way.
Depends on what he needs worse right now - a mower or cash. I would opt for getting the mower and, as you suggested, any extra cash from the fund after the mower is purchased goes to Rick for whatever he needs (gas, mower maintenance, hosp bill, food, whatever). And? I'll be sending him the money.

So who really gives a crap is someone on the West Coast is gay or a trans or does 'Drag' shows? It's no skin off my teeth if some corporation decides to stick a rainbow-flag on their product (hell, it's their product, they can do what they want with it). The point is . . . I'm my own man and live my own life, with my own values and principals, guided by my own morale compass and my God. As long as someone does not try to force me into living their chosen lifestyle . . . it's all good.
After getting SCAMMED using information taken from my debit-card from an online transaction (I stopped using CC years ago), I switched to making all my payments thru PayPal. That way only PayPal has my debit-card info instead of everyone I do a transaction with - easier and a LOT safer for me. So if/when this gets set up, let me know - I'll donate to the 'mower fund' to help out an OSA member.
