Somebody will make a fortune selling mag limiters. Can't blame 'em, it is the American way after all. Hell, Maybe I should design them myself! I sold 2,000 of them at $20 each, I might be able to buy DPMS.....
Agreed... but what this does is allow them to stack charges on anyone who happens to have an encounter with LE. It's like the Oklahoma marijuana tax stamp. And I'm sure the charges will be stackable for EACH magazine.
As many have said... it makes criminals of law-abiding, responsible citizens.
Sorry but I'm going to be very unpopular for this but I firmly believe civilian law enforcement agencies should be held to the same restrictions as the population they are supposed to police, especially in states that do something as opportunistic and asinine as this.
How will this effect pump actions and bolt actions without detachable mags? What about 8+ round revolvers? What about constitutional rights?
Another blue state.....
The state Senate, controlled by a coalition of Republicans and a handful of Democrats, approved the legislative package just after 11 p.m. by a lopsided vote of 43 to 18. The Assembly, where Democrats who have been strongly supportive of gun control have an overwhelming majority, planned to vote on the measure Tuesday.
Looks like Magpul is gonna have to make 7 rounders....
