I think you missed the point. Most Okies think the limit is five rounds and buy five round mags for hunting. If 7 round mags are made available, we'll have the option of loading up two more.

AR mags are already restricted to 7 rounds in Oklahoma, for deer hunting.

Legal Means of Taking
•Rifles: Centerfire rifles firing at least a 55-grain weight soft-nosed or hollow-point bullet and having an overall cartridge case length of 1 1/4 inches or longer (9mm rifles are not legal). Clips or magazines of all .22 caliber centerfire firearms may not be capable of holding more than seven rounds of ammunition.

Only for .22 caliber centerfire. No such restriction for my 300 Blackout.

At least if they manufacture 7 rnd mags people won't have to put in limiters for hunting......but in all serious this legislation is idiotic.
