I have never ever voted straight ticket in my life but it certainly looks like I may be voting strictly Republican this time. Problem is, like many of you it seems to me that we are looking at different sides of the same coin when it comes to our choices.

All I know is that I hear a lot about what goes on behind the scenes and I am not happy AT ALL with our Democratic constituents right now. I cannot imagine that Jari will be any better at being Gov. than she has been at being Lt. Gov.

Not to derail too far, but I'm not voting a straight ticket this year. In fact, I'm glad I have a third option on Lt. Governor since the records of both Todd Lamb and Kenneth Corn are nearly parallel.

She says she supports open carry laws?

But...

But...

She was one of the very few state legislators to vote against concealed carry in OK before it became law...

I'm not shy and if a member of congress can call the president a liar in an open forum then by GOD I can shout out:

Jari Askins - YOU LIE!

Of course one cannot hold that against her. After all she is a politician and lying is a fundamental aspect of the job and part of the job description.

Nope, I won't hold that against her.

Nope.

The hell I won't!

Jari Askins is a CCW holder, so take that for what its worth. I am still undecided and I am going to vote tomorrow since I will be out of town on tuesday.

And Rosie O'Donnell has armed security guards, what is your point? A lot of people "in power" feel they should have rights that they don't necessarily think you and I should have.

Dianne Feinstein and I believe Barbara Boxer have cc permits as well. Doesn't make them any more pro-gun.

These are more examples of the typical "the little people can't be trusted/need to be protected from themselves" and "my friends and I are special" attitude you get from the left.

They need protection, but you "little people" will ruin everything if you try to do the same.

Askins' vote on CCW is a deal breaker for me.

If anyone truly believes a democrat will, in the long run support gun rights,he had best remember David Boren and Dave McCurdy, both of who's" views" changed to match their party line. I am one of those who was practically born a democrat, but will probably never vote for one again. The trouble is that baby democrats grow up to be big democrats. ie.Make adkins gov. and her next stop will be the senate, then see what happens, and what she supports.and yes for the record, I wanted brogdon.

Askins is running a hell of a TV campaign right now. Lying her ass off while she's doing it or at least her schills are.

If fallin don't get off her butt she's gonna be joining the largent club for governor wannabes.
