so what are all the complaints with it? I've seriously considered it and the only specific complaints I've heard is that the graphics aren't very polished and the single player campaign is too short. What else is negative about it?

The graphics aren't cutting edge, there's some things that look nice, but when things look bad... they look bad.

Like in the very first mission, you call in a precision strike to blow off the doors of this huge wall, and the dirt and crap that comes falling down to the ground looks no better than crap you've seen on PS2.

Well singleplayer is basically move 10% of the time, stay in one spot and defend your position till your extracted 90% of the time. Takes one or two shots to kill you in multiplayer, the spawns are HORRID. If you ARENT hiding behind something you probably wont be able to count to 3 before you die. Now if you are hiding you might make it to 5. The graphics on the other hand are the least bit wrong with it. The game looks absolutely gorgeous.

My biggest complaint is just a all around, general blanket complaint of the game.

I played the beta and honestly the beta felt more polished than the release version. The full release just seems way too rough and raw, more like what you'd expect out of a beta.

There are frame rate issues, AI is just completely dumb (I've had several enemies literally walk AROUND me to go hide and shoot at my teammates), some items on the maps are penetrable, but most aren't, which just seems like a step back considering modern FPS games have more realistic penetrable items and this is supposed to be one of the most realistic modern warfare games out.

Again on the AI, play the game on Hard, even then it's still easy. If you're only partially under cover and the enemy is shooting at you, don't panic and duck and cover, just look around, wait for the flash reports, zero in on his head and score a headshot... trust me, you'll have time.

I don't understand why you can't go into the prone position on multiplayer. That is one of my biggest complaints, and the crappy respawn points.

Respawn in Multiplayer: There seems to be no rhyme or reason to how you respawn. It appears to pick a player at random for you to spawn on. This leads to spawning repeatedly in a camped position. I died 8 times in a row, instantly after respawn.

Sniper rifles: In BFBC2 there was significant bullet drop. In MoH, there appears to be none, until you go out to extreme ranges. I am usually very effective as a sniper/recon, and I have yet to zero in my rifle unless I am within short to medium range.

Unlock tree: Absolutely brutal. Dont ask me why, I just dont like it.

There's more than just graphics that I have found issues with, but I dont care to get into a review of the game.

I thought it was fun, the multiplayer is different, but I thought it was still fun, better than most of the other crap games out there. I'm gonna play it til Black Ops comes out...got mine on preorder and cant wait to play that one.

Even Battlefield 1943 has bullet drop.

If you're interested in a wartime FPS to hold you off until Black Ops comes out, pick up Battlefield 1943 from the PSN Store/XBL. I paid $15 for it, it has a few maps, destructible environment, good sound, good gameplay, and there are still lots of people who play it online.

Plus, the dog fights are just awesome.

I'm more excited about Black Ops than I was MW2.

I'm really looking forward to the wager matches, especially "One in the Chamber". On CoD4, my game preference was hardcore headquarters using a silenced G3, I LOVE one shot-one kill, it also keeps my accuracy stats up. On MW2 I prefer hardcore mosh pit or hardcore team deathmatch with the silenced FAL. So One in the Chamber looks to be right up my alley.

Honestly, MoH was only purchased as a placeholder till CoDBO came out for me. Unfortunately, I enjoy BFBC2 more. But who knows, maybe things will shape up for MoH (afterall, its only been out a few days now).
