Me too. Maybe it will kill off some of the bugs...

These friggin record breaking hot summers w/accompanying drought have done more to kill off bugs than anything. I saw my first mosquito all year night before last. He landed on my arm and I'm thinking, "Wait. I've seen these before."

For me that means cold weather arrives early. We have lots of snow but no ice storms. Temperatures below freezing. And winter lasts longer than normal. (I grew up in Indiana in the day. Up there we have four seasons. Winter. More Winter. It's Still Winter. And, Road Construction.)

Dennis, how about looking at your persimmon seeds. They're actually pretty accurate at telling how many cold snaps will happen throught the winter.

Are you kidding me. The mosquito's may not be that bad but there are tons of bugs right now

i just walked out to some persimmon trees to get one and check. Made it to garage, found some beer in fridge, got side tracked, came back to house.
