Telling a guy about some funny posts on here yesterday, and he 'bout blew a gasket. He said sites like this was nothing but a data mine for LEO's and lawyers. According to him your IP is recorded, and every post is kept forever, "just in case". There's no way to unsubscribe either. I thought "Ok, conspiracy overload." I'll admit I never touched a computer until march of this year when they started talking about open carry, so I don't know how this stuff works. But you know I looked around and there IS no way to cancel or unsubscribe. Also in "General usage rules" it does say your IP address will be recorded and the threads stored for certain things. Hmmmmm. Just wondering, I'll probably quit using this thing pretty soon anyway, the new is wearing off and I just don't trust this thing anymore than a cell phone or a car.

You say that now but wait till they come to your house to get you. You'll be cursing that IP address all the way to that secret prison in the desert where they'll be interrogating you until you give up all the other freedom loving members of this forum.

That's why I always wear sunglasses, a hoodie and gloves and only use the computers at the library. The best part is every time I sit down there someone comes and grabs the kids off the other computers and stays away from me. You can never be to careful man.

I agree - if you eat the tinfoil, then the scanners cannot see into your stomach to find out which "tactical lunch" you ate to prepare for battle.

I wouldn't call the guy a Moron but he is a little to overly critical and skeptical. The Gov has tabs on everything they want to regardless if you visit okshooters, or walk down the street. The only way for you to be completely risk free is toe live off the grid no power, no ss #, no debt, no utilities, etc. However saying that I dont care what the Gov knows I have nothing to hide. You have to make that line in the sand the dont give a hoot or live off the grid.
