My BOK debit card wouldn’t work for gas one day last week. On the fourth or fifth try it finally worked. The convenience store teller said nice and loud “Sir do you have any other means to pay”. Not cool!! My account had several thousand in it that had been there long enough, timing had nothing to do with it. It finally did go through. Funny, I’ve NEVER had that issue with cash!

It really did get me to thinking about the fact that you really only have what someone or something else says you have.

There's so much "funny money" floatin around down here, some of the smaller stores wont take anything over a $20

Here, but occasionally There.
ATM ate 1860 in cash this AM, spit back out 780, then cancelled my transaction.

LMAO!!!!

The bank said they will report their finding in the next ten business days.

Note to self. Wait until the bank OPENS from now on.

ha!!

It's all part of The Plan. This is Obama's way of getting his taxes earlier, rather than later.

Thank you much....

....I'll now continue getting my Social Security money back.

I haven't used an ATM in 24 years or so. Even then I never deposited any cash. I always preferred to make deposits with a human teller, that way if there is a mistake, it can be corrected immediately.

^^my new rule^^

My always rule!

I had an ATM cheat me out of $200 on a withdrawal right after they were put into place around here about 25 years ago.

It was the first time I used one in OKC, and after I put in my PIN the ATM shut down, lights and all. It gave my card back, but no cash, and still charged it to my account.

It took the bank more than six months to get it right.

I have never used an ATM for a deposit, and very rarely for cash.
