My lathe stopped working!

Just replaced the circuit board, it turned on. But it doesn't turn at the lowest speed, unless it's at 1000, but then the speed goes in and out.

I'm gonna call Grizzly and unfortunately it's not under warranty. Thanks

Just Badly produced boards keep exchanging them

Doublecheck the brushes, you might even try the old ones too. Bad connection will cause erratic operation.

The brushes may not be seated well at the commutator. Bad contact can cause the burnt leads that
appear on the brushes in your photo. The wires on the brushes.
This connection, well seated brushes, is critical to low speed operation.

Got it going, got a new circuit board and ended up buying me a new lathe. It runs good, it will be a backup unless I end up selling it.
