This is the correct answer!

Went to dinner last night before leaving the house I tucked my 1911 into it's IWB holster threw a spare mag in the hip pocket, dropepd my model 36 in the front pocket and put my edc knife on the belt.

So am I paranoid or just prepared?

Prepared! People think that the prepared people are paranoid till the SHTF, then they end up kissing the a** of the prepared person.

No Jeff that is not a crazy thing to do, I ALWAYS have a gun on me whenever I meet someone to sell or swap things. But then again, I have a gun on me everywhere and even if I am not meeting someone. The only time I dont have a gun on me or in arms reach is in my bathroom.

Dying on the sh!tter is a horrible thing; at least take a pair of handcuffs in there with you.

last "eyeroll" my wife gave me was in San Antonio. We were at the hotel... as I unloaded my stuff for the night... and pulled out an extra snubnosed revolver and reloads for each gun.

I guess she figured 2 guns and half a box of bullets was a little too much for 4 days in the big city.

Haha!

When my wife and I travel, we usually take a couple each, and I usually bring a small ammo can of reloads and extra ammo. Not to mention the spare mag in the car that's always there, and the one usually on me.

No such thing as too much ammo!

I really dont know what changed but the first time she said that I bout fainted.

I remember my first time also............

Secondly I wouldn't go meet someone I have known all my life without being armed much less a stranger from craigslist. Now angieslist? maybe but that craig is a thug........

My wife wouldn't let me have guns in the house. About 6 months after she filed for divorce, someone tried to break into the house while the kids and her were asleep. My son told her that if Dad were here, he wouldn't have succeeded. Poetic Justice for her, lol! You're not nuts for carrying a gun. Better safe than sorry!
