Surprised because I got one of these lowers through a charity event as well, and it went together like butter. My cousin has a BCM 14.5" LW middy upper on it and has had no issues in the past 1,000 rounds or so.

And yes, no reason to not name them since they're out of business now.

I caught that part, but wasn't really sure if it was them as I believe that went under.

I'm not entirely sure it's them either, but the local manufacturer part makes me suspect it is so. I don't currently know of any other lower manufacturers in Oklahoma.

If your not going to out them and save a fellow forum member from the same experience I would at least take it back to said "local" company and get a replacement. That way if one of us has the same problem we will at least know they stand behind their product.

I almost ordered one of the lowers. Glad I did not now.

I'm cornfused now. Could someone please enlighten me on other manufacturers in Oklahoma? Rijas is not one. An assembler does not a manufacturer make.
