Seems as though people have apologized, sponsors have pulled out, etc. The opening ceremony seems to been universally panned. Heck, they raised the Olympic flag upside down… Mongolia’s outfits were pretty cool though.
Judo has been interesting to watch. Some of those people are shockingly strong and flexible.

When I was young, I thought this Scripture meant we are struggling against governments (powers and principalities)….
But “powers” and “principalities” are actually 2 of the 9 choirs of angels. In descending hierarchical order: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominations, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, and Angels.
It literally means we are struggling against fallen angels. (“Not against flesh and blood…)

One has to wonder what athletes themselves think of having their hard work, dedication and skills used as “coming attractions” for so gross a display by degenerates.
It brings to mind “circus and cakes” of Roman coliseum games, where orgies might have been on slate for the elite’s evening schedule.
The surreal absurdity of those yawning and feigning surprise at the predictable indignation only illustrates the moral confusion of our era.
Christians, understandably, are not the only ones offended, as indicated in this story. Any cultured human being would register disgust at having their athletic competitors, representing lives of dedication and hard work, not to mention their Nation, being used as the vehicle for delivering so vile a dirty-bomb payload to a World audience.

SPIN AGAIN! Those trying to paint Christians as ignorant or explain this away as anything less than openly mocking the religion of 2.4 billion people are wrong. From the organizers themselves, this was NOT a depiction of another Greek celebration. Saying they meant no disrespect shows just how far out of touch with reality these folks really are.
