It is my understanding If you have a Mil ID, you can get a regular DL and be good.

I fly with my Mil ID. It’s registered with the trusted travelers program thing. Don’t have to take my shoes off or turn the laptop on. Just toss the stuff on the X-ray belt and walk through.
