Natty man here, there is better, there is worse and I will drink just about anything but the BEAST. When I open the cooler at the corner store is the 6 16oz cans for 3 bucks I pull out.

Okay, so I have taken to cheaper beer in the last few months. I used to be a bit of a beer snob, but got into drinking Budweiser because it was a lot cheaper. First the 6 point stuff from Texas, and now just in general. My quest to find even cheaper beer led me to try Pabst Blue Ribbon. Stuff isn't half bad and at $7 for a 12 pack I can get into it. I'm scaring myself thinking I might be heading towards Natty Light and the butt end of a lot of beer jokes (never going to happen). Someone please tell me I'm not too far gone. What do you guys think of the stuff?

There's worse out there but I for one would be hard pressed to name one - well - Steel City comes to mind and Carling Black Label - but that's about it.

Dont knock the MGD its what got me through college. We used to get 30 packs for like 12 bucks.

MGD is not Miller High Life. MGD is decent beer.

I was at a party once where we set up a blind taste test with about 20 different beers. The winner, by a big margin, and to the shock of all participants, was Old Milwaukee.

We did the same thing once, with the same results.

Maybe I missed it but i'm suprised Bud Ice or Bud Dry hasn't made an appearance. Thats a hangover in a bottle!
