I received a notice that my SS# was found on the dark web, via Experian. The information I found was from an old AT&T account from 20+ years ago. Just passing it along folks.
Freeze your three bureaus plus LexisNexis. If they can’t inquire they cannot open accounts. You can unfreeze briefly if you do want to apply for credit. Malwarebytes has a free tool for checking what info of yours is on the dark web. You’ll likely be amazed what is on there.
