I didn't need anything, but when stuff like this goes on, it's like a game and I want to play. I did support local businesses though. I bought a lot of this from Fat Boy Tactical and Sooner State Pawn's Mexico location.

I exercised my love of the old school and my C&R license to buy a Swedish M96 FSR rifle. It doesn't have a pistol grip, flash hider, detachable mag, or a barrel shroud so hopefully that will help politicians sleep at night.
I was looking for BX25 mags but couldn't find any so I got three Glock 17 mags. I went to Dongs and was going to buy some ammo when I heard a guy ask how much for the PMAGs, $50 said the other guy so I left with nothing and will never be back. Its Sportsworld, Sooner Guns, and maybe BANG from now on. Most of the guys (not all) at Academy are dumb as rocks. I have a short list of online retailers if I need something I can't find at a local gun shop but I'm gonna try and keep it local.
The only reason I ever buy evil guns is to get them off the street. Then I promptly throw them in a pond or melt them down for TSA guard rails.

Midway USA has BX25 mags in stock and on sale for $21.99. But they have a limit of two. I picked up a couple of those and a couple 25rd S&W 15/22 mags.
Sold all my evil death sticks at the gun show
I bought an AR lower right before the shooting last week. I was planning on getting an upper early next year...I may move that up a little bit if it looks like a ban is immeniant. Other than that, I did buy the last box of 9mm off the shelf at Walmart this evening. The guy at the counter told me that they are selling it faster than they can stock it...
The surplus store off sunnylane here in OKC had 1 case of 1000 rounds of 9mm left this afternoon. Price was STUPID, but I took it home. Pissed me off to get stuck like that, I really should have walked.
I was eyeballing a pistol before Fridays events,it just motivated me to go through with it. I'm a sucker for wildcat rounds and this thing is a little monster. RIA 22TCM/Micro Mag 9mm, ammo is plentifull and reasonable and will shoot 9mm or the 22TCM(insane little bullet).
