I agree as they can dispute your dispute and other stuff, but it will be there for a bit and is a pain.

Sucks that tow co. has folks by the nads, but you don't have a choice when you are paying the daily fee. They don't care and your car will still be there however long it takes.

I drove from Norman up to Chandler and there was no way I was doing that again. He knew and said that I couldnt do chit about it. It sucks, it really, really sucks.

Therein lies the problem. You can still sue em though. Be sure you have your evidence all in line.

Funny thing about these types of businesses, they do have rules they must comply with and they know it. However, they expect you not to know their rules. See:

Towing was regulated by DPS but now I believe it's Corporation Commission.. They loosened up the rates and such the last year or so as well. I deal with this at work often but not much in OK lately. I'll see what I can find and post back.

See, they got rules too. Title 47 as well If I recall correctly.

Hell, I was out of date. The new NEW rates were just updated 8 days ago:

You are right though. This is all in Title 47.

If the charges are at all out of line with the posted maximums, I would definitely dispute the CC charge and file a complaint with the corporation commission. But damn, the fees are high now. They just went up like 20%.
