Maybe you have a bad dryer. I don't have that problem with my dryer. Try getting the pants damp, not soaked and throw them in the dryer by them selves for about 10-15 minutes.

Go to Dollar General and spend a couple bucks for "Wrinkle Release" spray. Works great. Use it on all my clothes right after putting them on the hanger. Just wait a couple of hours before putting them on or they'll be wet from the spray.

Don't fill the washer or dryer over 2/3 full of clothes. Dry on lower heat and pull the clothes out and put them on hangars before they are completely dry, they will dry the rest of the way in hour or two. I wear a lot of wrinkle resistant Docker slacks, jeans, and pull-over shirts and sweaters and they hardly ever need ironing, but dress shirts nearly always need a lot of ironing. All cotton dress shirts need more ironing than polyester/cotton blends but many of the blends are not very comfortable and don't "breathe" well.

Buy permanent press or wrinkle resistant pants. The wash 'em inside out. Thow 'em in the dryer inside out. Remove from dryer when ALMOST dry. Turn right side out and hang upside down by the cuff with those wire squeeze pant hangars. Clothing makers are also doing a pretty good job on wrinkle resistant dress shirts, these days, too. Just follow the directions - like ya do with guns.

And no, I don't watch BRAVO. Sometimes one learns something useful in the military other than fawning, ring kissing and limited tactical nuke warfare. :)

No offence sir,
But I caution you about the permanent press. There's a woman named Dacron who claims to be a reporter from the Permanent Press, and she's been on my ass for years.
Careful what you say. Careful what you carey.
