Thanks for the extensive recommendation everyone and to EZB for giving me some ideas. So far I have purchased a CMMG stiripped lower and LPK and a magpul MOE grip. Will order the stock and tube assembly as soon as I decide where to buy. I am really wanting to go with the 300 blackout but may start with a 5.56 barrel since the ammo is cheaper to shoot, and pick up a 300 blk shortly down the road.
Can't decide to buy a complete upper or piece one together. Looks like the bolt carrier, and barrel is where you can spend some money. I really don't want something that I won't be proud of. Otherwise I would just go to academy and buy something for 600-800 and be done with it. Plus this is much more fun and hopefully my financial adviser (wife) will not know how much this thing ends ups costing.
