I don't travel to states that don't allow them.
But I do travel. As long as one keeps the original tax stamp with the can, they should be good to go into other states if I'm not incorrect?

    That is correct.
If I was planning on passing though a prohibited state to go to a legal state, I would take additional precautions though.

I have a 7.63/.308, and one for .22. Very nice for shooting in my backyard. The 7.62 will also work for my 5.56. I plan on getting a .45 for my 9mm pistols. The reason that suppressors in other countries are cheaper is that they are not made to the same standards as here. For us it is a lifelong purchase in other countries they are considered "disposable". Use it for a year and just get a new one. Some contries it is considered rude to not use one.

That's because we have to consider a suppressor a lifetime purchase, due to the ordeal of purchasing/permitting. When a suppressor can be bought as easily as a magazine, then it can be made less expensive.
