Western Auto Store Winchester high speed 22 rimfire for $0.39 a box of 50..........Mobiloil gas was $0.32/gallon..........cokes and Neihi orange soda was a nickel a bottle........the early 60's were a blast

I remember my dad giving me 50 cents, riding my bike to town, paying my way into the Saturday matinee and having enough left over for coke and popcorn

I remember my mom sending me down to Circle C in Lexington to buy her cigarettes and 2 liter (GLASS) bottles of Coke.

I use to love going to the local pool hall in Cordele, Georgia with my grandfather for chili dogs on the weekend.
Then he would take my brother and I to Otasco for a treat.
